Before Halloween on 31st, there was a Halloween Carnival at the Iwakuni sports complex on 21st October.

It was sponsored by Japanese American society Iwakuni and Iwakuni city.

Families from the Iwakuni base were helping to dress a lot of authentic American Halloween decorations to all over the hall and raised its atmosphere.

On the costume contest, children came on to the stage dressing up themselves as famous cartoon characters or princesses with waving their hands and took pose like a model.

People sent big applause to the contestants.

Children walked around the venue saying "Happy Halloween" then volunteers put candy in children's candy bags.
